Position: Class Teacher
Status: 1.0 FTE, Full-time, permanent
Start Date: 13 April 2026 (after Easter Holidays)
Salary Range: Teachers’ Main Scale M1-M6 (ECTs will be considered)

Role Details
We are seeking an enthusiastic, resilient and skilled teacher with excellent classroom practice to join our supportive and hardworking staff team. At Thameside, children are at the heart of every decision we make, and we are looking for someone who can inspire, motivate and nurture pupils as they move through their learning journey.
You will need strong organisational skills to plan an engaging school day that enables every child to thrive, regardless of their starting point or individual needs. A caring, patient and child-centred approach is essential.
You will join an ambitious and collaborative team that supports and challenges one another to secure the very best outcomes for all our children, including those with SEND.
We are looking to appoint someone who:
- Has the passion, enthusiasm and commitment to ensure teaching and learning is the very best it can be for our fantastic children.
- Is a skilful teacher focused on improving outcomes for every child in their class.
- Has strong subject knowledge or the willingness to develop it further in order to help pupils flourish and make excellent progress.
- Understands current thinking around the National Curriculum and child development.
- Is resilient and able to build positive relationships with a wide range of children, including those who may need additional support and structure.
